Keep Your Soul Fit

Let me be honest with you, it took time and work to be honest with myself. I struggled with feelings of inadequacy for years. For myself, for my kids, for those who were close to me… A breath seminar I had attended was the best wake up call in my process of transforming into the person I am today. It was my turning point. When you get in touch with who you are and what’s really going on beneath the surface, that’s where the ultimate shift begins. It’s the starting point for true transformation to take place. “Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate, our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It’s our light not darkness that most frighten us…”

The more I became connected to my breath and meditation practice, the clearer it became that I needed to be easier on myself. I realized it is very important for me to take great care of myself and share my practices so that other people could get inspired and take great care of themselves too.

My goal is to share that you too can live your life with ease and find true inner peace within yourself.  Now, when I look back on my life, I realize this passion always lived in me. I have given birth to two amazing kids, some how I had never experienced to stay this much fit both physically and mentally. I believe once you are dedicated, you can transform to a better version of yourself.

I look back and see how much this pandemic has taught me… This year, more than any other, I have realized the importance of a single hug. I realized that touching is my love language, the way I show my affection, my care for the people that I love. During the pandemic, besides my immediate family, I didn’t get a chance to hug people. Instead, keeping social distance became the way I showed my care. Unexpectedly, this absence of touch turned out to raise a great awareness in me. I learned to hug myself emotionally. To accept all those parts of me that I had once found weak. To show compassion to myself. Just accepting instead of judging. Those parts of me I had been denying, has made me the person I am today. I am truly grateful for all my weaknesses. I am truly happy to accept myself.

Instead of constantly expecting something from life, I hope we can open our hearts to what life expects from us, what it wants to make visible through us. Let us serve to greater, without neglecting our own unique existence. Let’s see what is and accept it as it is. Let’s surrender to love.
